Kilim and carpet weaving is an ancient craft that is still very strong in Egypt. The carpets resemble the traditional carpets from Turkey and Persia but have their own Egyptian style. We work with natural wool collected in the North of Egypt and carefully washed, treated and weaved by local craftsmen. Our motifs are inspired by the merging of Scandinavian simplicity and the intricate regional patterns.
