On the foot of Mt Kenya, a small rug weaving women corporative was formed in the 1970'ies. The women create soft and durable merino wool carpets in natural colors. The carpet's very gentle touch makes it perfect for floor cushions. The wool is separated, washed and spun by hand using traditional tools.
